Schomp Automotive Adds Nissan to the Family

August 2nd, 2021 by

A new name and a new look are in store for Empire Littleton Nissan, which becomes Schomp Nissan, part of the Schomp Automotive Group, on August 1, 2021.

“Schomp Automotive is excited to be expanding our footprint in the Denver market,” said Dealer Principal and CEO Aaron Wallace. “We have a well-established presence  in South Denver and look forward to continuing to serve our customers with the addition of the cutting-edge products that Nissan North America is bringing to market. Acquiring a well-established Nissan dealership like Empire Littleton Nissan is a natural complement to our other dealerships.”

Schomp acquired Schomp Subaru, Schomp Mazda and Schomp Hyundai in 2018, and Schomp Ford in February 2021. Its portfolio also includes Schomp BMW, Schomp Honda and Schomp MINI in Highlands Ranch, as well as Mercedes-Benz of Farmington and Porsche Salt Lake City in Utah, and BMW of Fairfield in Northern California.

Schomp Nissan will immediately adopt the Group’s One Price. One Person. One Hour.® sales philosophy, which offers customers a single point of contact during a purchase. Following this proven operating method, and providing award-winning guest experience has propelled the Schomp dealerships to their current market leadership positions.

New ownership will bring some significant changes:

  • Schomp Nissan will be closed August 1-2 for staff training, technology upgrades, and improvements in the showroom and service lounge to make them more comfortable and efficient for customers.
  • Doors will be open to guests on August 3rd with operating hours that are congruent with the rest of the Schomp organization; Sales open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Service/Parts open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Plans for a new showroom and six-lane service drive are underway with construction beginning in 2021 and completion scheduled for late 2022.
  • A new website will be available at www.schompnissan.com

Schomp Nissan has appointed Brian Singh as Managing Partner. Singh is a graduate of the NADA Dealer Academy and an Automotive News “40 Under 40” award recipient. He and his family are relocating from Cypress, Texas, near Houston, where he has been with Parkway Family Kia & Mazda.

“Brian is an automotive professional who understands how pivotal offering a superior customer experience is to us. He is excited to be joining Schomp Nissan, and we’re very pleased to have him,” Wallace said.

Other top management and many sales staff members have been drawn from Schomp’s existing dealerships to facilitate a smooth transition. Continuing Empire Littleton staff will be trained in Schomp operating methods.

Chris Lenckosz has owned and operated Empire Littleton Nissan since 2018 and has a deep-rooted commitment to philanthropy and the community. Schomp Nissan will continue that legacy.

Schomp Automotive is one of Colorado’s oldest family-owned and operated automotive businesses.

It has been in the Denver area for almost 80 years. Aaron Wallace is the fourth-generation to lead the business that was founded in Pueblo, Colorado in 1912 by Wallace’s great-grandfather, Roy Weaver. Acquiring Empire Nissan actually completes a historic circle. The original Empire dealership in Denver was founded by Weaver and later owned by Wallace’s  great uncle. With the acquisition of Empire Littleton Nissan, an Empire dealership is rejoining its original family.
