2021 Schomp Salutes

Memorial Day is about more than enjoying a three-day weekend with spring weather and a picnic. It has a serious purpose: to commemorate the men and women who have fallen serving our country. In recent years, observation of Memorial Day has expanded to include recognizing the service and sacrifices by everyone in the U.S. armed services.

Since 2018, Schomp Automotive has dedicated the entire month of May to honor the service and sacrifice of the brave individuals in the U.S. Armed Services in a program called Schomp Salutes. 

Schomp Salutes Workout

In years past, we organized an entire Military-Inspired workout over Memorial Day Weekend to benefit the Danny Dietz Foundation – a local organization whose goal is to create awareness and community improvement by training and mentoring at-risk youth. Danny Dietz was a Navy Seal who died in the line of duty in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. Danny was a proud Heritage High School graduate from Littleton, CO. 

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to cancel the annual Schomp Salutes workout event in May of both 2020 and this year. Please stay tuned for the future workout events with our partners at the Danny Dietz Foundation.

Military Branches

Schomp Automotive still chooses to honor our servicemen and servicewomen this month. Each Schomp dealership represents a different branch of the military during the month: 

Air Force: Schomp MINI / Schomp Mazda

Navy: Schomp BMW / Schomp Hyundai

Army: Schomp Honda / Schomp Subaru

Marines: Schomp Ford
