Schomp Automotive Comes Out on Top in 2020 Colorado Biz Magazine Awards
Schomp Automotive came out on top of the pack in the Colorado Biz Magazine “Best of Colorado 2020” awards. We were voted the “Best of Transportation – Best Auto Dealership.”
The award was based on votes from the business community between November 2019 and January 2020. According to Colorado Biz Magazine’s rules, “We’re frequently asked how companies can make the list. The answer is simple: get the most votes! The Best of Colorado Business Choice awards are not a solicitation nor can any business buy their way onto the list.”
Schomp’s Core Values
According to our CEO Aaron Wallace: “Schomp’s Core Values ensure that both our customers and our team members have the best experience possible at our dealerships. They also have guided our almost eight decades of commitment to serving in the communities where we live and do business.” The Core Values include being Competitive, Consistent, Adaptable, Respectful and Empathetic.
Schomp Automotive also ranked #5 on Colorado Biz Magazine’s list of “2020 Top 50 Family-Owned Companies.” We climbed a notch from #6 to #5 based on the number of our employees – 641 spread among our three Highlands Ranch and three Aurora locations. Aaron Wallace is the fourth generation in the Schomp family to head the 78-year-old Denver-area business (the others were great-grandfather, Roy Weaver; grandfather, Ralph Schomp; and mom, Lisa Schomp). On the Colorado Biz list of this year’s Top 50 Family-Owned Companies, only Johnson Moving & Storage at 119 years and four generations, and Seattle Fish Co. with 101 years and three generations, have more longevity. That’s great company to be in!
